We at the Ebara Group wish to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the friends and family of those lost during the Great East Japan Earthquake. We sincerely hope that the affected area will recover as soon as possible. We are giving our utmost effort with respect to recovery support activities.

Under E-Plan 2013, the mid-term management plan initiated as of April 2011, we have been moving forward with the promotion of a globally oriented product supply framework and with the concept of "grow locally, consume locally." We have at the same time, been upping our global competitiveness through means of the development of manufacturing innovation campaigns at our overseas plants. We have also been moving forward towards new markets by expanding the reaches of the spheres of our central operations. As we approach our 100th year in business in 2012, we would like to move forward during the next 100 years as an industrial machinery manufacturer that makes an extensive contribution to society by providing superior technologies and services related to water, air, and environment. Gaining an understanding of client and customer needs that is both accurate and based on foresight; we are working hard to have the Group develop as a whole through contributions to society, which are made possible by means of the manufacturing and sales of our superior hardware and our high quality services. Moreover, we have been striving more and more towards complete corporate governance through the thorough promotion of both objectivity and transparency with respect to corporate affairs. As a good corporate citizen, we are and will always be growing together with society while fulfilling our corporate social responsibility and proactively getting involved in social contribution activities related to the promotion of technology, sports, culture and localities.
