Model UCWC, a process pump for petroleum refinery and petrochemical applications
EBARA CORPORATION (“EBARA”) is pleased to announce that it formed a technical alliance agreement with TEIKOKU ELECTRIC MFG. CO., LTD. ("TEIKOKU") for pumps in the petroleum refinery and petrochemical industries on August 5, 2019. Under a long-term partnership with TEIKOKU, in August 2019, EBARA will launch Model UCWC, a process pump for the petroleum refinery and petrochemical applications that merges the technologies of the both two companies. EBARA will enhance the corporate value by delivering safety, security, and comfort to customers through a new product.
1. Background and purpose
In the Management Philosophy EBARA established in 2015, it presents our policy, "The Group strives to maintain the highest standard of technological capabilities in each business domain to continue the improvement in product performance. We passionately pursue new technologies outside the company to incorporate the knowledge and bring it in markets with our products that have technical features no other competitors do." As one of its growth strategies, EBARA entered a technical partnership with TEIKOKU, a leader in canned motor pumps. Thus, we will deliver the exceptionally safe and durable pumps, which carry TEIKOKU's canned motor and its accessories in EBARA's Model UCW, in the pump markets for the petroleum refinery and petrochemical industries worldwide.
