EBARA CORPORATION
EBARA Corporation (EBARA) agrees with the philosophy behind “Science Castle 2020”, organized by “Leave a Nest Co., Ltd.” (“Leave a Nest”※１) to support research activities and science education of high school students who will lead the next generation so that science and technology may evolve. Hence we set up “EBARA CORPORATION AWARD”.
１．Background and Aim
”Science Castle” started in 2012 as a scientific society established by “Leave a Nest” for high school students who challenge themselves in research and development. Its objective is to give those kids a springboard so they can take the first step. We hope that, jump-starting with this “EBARA CORPORATION AWARD”, those young researchers will open the door to their future and grow to become a driving force for science and technology development.
２．Overview
EBARA runs five businesses※２and each of those businesses provides products and technologies deeply related to various “Fluids” such as water, air, heat, and gas, etc. Therefore, with “EBARA CORPORATION AWARD”, we would like to support junior and senior high school students who create new future through a research related to “Flow”. To those selected teams, you will be provided with not only supports for research funds but also support of EBARA researchers along with “Leave a Nest” staff members so you can work together with them in your research activities.

Established in December, 2001 by fifteen (15) science and technology postgraduates as the world’s first “Intelligence Manufacturing Business” venture company. It undertakes education, HR fostering, research, planning/research/consultation related to company startups, etc. in science and technology.
Pump Business: various pumps, fans, etc. Compressor & Turbine Business: centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, etc. Chiller Business: turbo freezers, chillers, etc. Environmental Plant Business: waste incinerators, construction and operation of biomass power generation facilities, etc. Precision Machinery Business: dry vacuum pumps, emission gas process devises, devises related to semiconductor such as CMP devises, etc.
Due to preventive measures taken against COVID-19, except for the Application Deadline, all schedule times are “planned” times.
