Stoker-type incineration system
EBARA’s stoker-type incineration system, the product of about 50 years of technological evolution since we delivered our first such system in 1961, along with our proven technologies, is suited to a wide range of applications, from small to large furnaces and from low to high calorific value of the waste.
Fluidized-bed incinerator system
In the fluidized-bed incinerator, waste are quickly and uniformly incinerated by using the heat capacity of hot fluidizing sand. It can be applied to a wide range of waste, including municipal solid waste, from low to high calorific waste. It is also well suited for mixed incineration with night-soil sludge or sewage sludge.
Gasification technology
By breaking down heterogeneous materials and waste plastics containing impurities, which are difficult to recycle with other methods, and turning them back into various chemicals, such as ammonia, methanol, and olefin, EBARA’s gasification systems make it possible to re-use them as raw materials in the production of plastics, rubber, and chemical fibers, contributing to a major increase in waste plastic recycling rates.
Boilers
EBARA's internally circulating fluidized-bed boiler enables the stable incineration of a wide range of fuels, including biomass, coal, and discarded tires. With the changing circumstances related to energy supply, biomass power plants or waste-to-energy plants are attracting major attention as promising forms of renewable energy power plants.
EBARA Environmental Plant Co., Ltd. Technologies and Products
Local production/local consumption of electricity through waste-to-energy facility
EBARA promotes the local production/local consumption of electricity, in which the heat generated by waste incineration is recovered as electrical power using high-efficiency power generation technology, and the clean electricity thus generated is used within the local area.
Commissioning of Kuwana Wide Area Cleaning Business Association
Kuwana Wide Area Cleaning Business Association Recycling Center began operating in January 2020. In addition to stable waste treatment, the Center’s features include its high-efficiency power generation, using a 6 MPa x 450°C high-temperature, high-pressure boiler and a full range of environmental education and awareness-raising functions.
Chemical recycling technology helping to solve the problem of plastic waste
By breaking down heterogeneous materials and waste plastics containing impurities, which are difficult to recycle with other methods, and turning them back into various chemicals, such as ammonia, methanol, and olefin, EBARA’s gasification systems make it possible to re-use them as raw materials in the production of plastics, rubber, and chemical fibers, contributing to a major increase in waste plastic recycling rates.
Aim to automate 89% of operating time with Automatic Crane System with Waste Identification AI
In EBARA’s automatic crane system with waste identification AI, AI is used to analyze the condition of the waste as it is being stirred in the waste pit, after which an advanced control device determines the actions of the crane inside the pit and automatically operates the crane. EBARA Environmental Plant Co., Ltd. won an Excellence Award in the Deep Learning Business Awards in 2019 for this system.
